Atmosphere IoT Studio adds support for the Cypress PSoC 6 IoT Prototyping Kit
Atmosphere recently added support for the Cypress PSoC 6 Wi-Fi/BT Prototyping Kit – an all-in-one kit that can help you kickstart your next IoT design.
The Cypress PSoC® 6 Wi-Fi Prototyping Kit offers a hardware platform for developing ultra-low-power, secure and cloud-connected IoT edge devices, featuring the highly flexible and secure dual-core Arm® Cortex M4/M0+ PSoC 62 MCU. It also features a fully certified 802.11n and Dual-Mode Bluetooth module with a Cypress radio inside (CYW4343W), industry-leading CapSense® for touch buttons and slider, a MicroSD card interface, 512-Mb Quad-SPI NOR flash, PDM microphone, and a thermistor, and a PMOD interface for external sensors.
Our Getting Started: Introduction to the the Cypress PSoC 6 video walks through a demo project using the PSoC 6. You’ll learn how to read the sensors on the kit, send data to the mobile app and the Cloud, and trigger an alert when the humidity level reaches a target value.
We also put together a quick stand-alone temperature monitor project demonstrating the PSoC 6 as a stand-alone temperature monitor in a remote location, using both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capabilities on the kit.
The Getting Started with PSoC 6 Wi-Fi BT Proto guide on the Atmosphere Developer Hub is an 8-step guide to create a project, program the firmware, register the device, and display data to a dashboard.
