IoT World 2019 Recap

The Atmosphere team had a great week in Santa Clara at IoT World May 13th-17th

The weather was a bit cool, but that didn’t stop us from hobnobbing at the T-Mobile Pool Party.  Unfortunately, we left our swimsuits in Minneapolis.

IoT World is the perfect time to connect with media and analysts. Atmosphere CEO Jeff Liebl always has a lot of excitement to share about the Atmosphere Platform.

Live demos and dashboards were a hit at our booth, but our highlights were learning more about customer challenges – they ran the gamut from smart toilets to connected golf clubs to managing a million devices coast-to-coast.

Perhaps the highlight of the show was winning a Best in Show Award from Embedded Computing Design in the “Wired and Wireless Connectivity” category. It’s a great honor from an esteemed industry publication.

And to cap off our trip, we caught a sunrise over the Santa Cruz mountains and spotted an honest-to-goodness double rainbow in San Jose. We’re looking forward to heading back out to San Jose for Sensors Expo in about a month. We might just have to bring our swim trunks this time.
