New Weather Sensing Project Published by OKdo Showcasing E1 and Atmosphere IoT Studio

News | February 28th, 2021
Recently, Atmosphere announced a partnership with UK-based distributor OKdo, which included support for the OKdo E1 Development Board within Atmosphere IoT Studio. This allows developers to generate custom firmware and program the device without any manual coding by using Atmosphere’s award-winning low code, web-based Integrated Development Environment (IDE).
In conjunction with this release, OKdo has published a new, in depth E1 project that demonstrates how to build and connect OKdo’s E1-based wireless sensor network, and take the data to the cloud for storage, analytics and visualization. The published project takes advantage of Atmosphere IoT Studio’s pre-integrated support for the MikroE WiFi 7 and Weather Click boards to transform the E1 into a full-fledged weather monitoring system that keeps track of temperature, humidity and air pressure.
A full step-by-step guide for the hardware build and project setup is available here.
The Atmosphere Documentation Hub also includes information about the E1 Development Board, which can be read here.
